Every day you willl be able to watch the international competitions, experience fascinating culinary art and sample great culinary creations. An inspiring accompanying programme will offer entertainment for the entire family.
We can already provide you with a day-by-day itinerary of the National Culinary Teams and the competition programme. You will even be able to sample the results of these competitions in the respective competition restaurant.
| October 18th: | Opening Ceremony "Parade of Nations" |
| October 19th - 22nd: | Team competitions and contests of the individual exhibitors will take place every day with daily award ceremonies. Competition fever, last tactical considerations and many happy winners make a perfect mix creating this atmosphere so unique to the IKA/Culinary Olympics: excitement from the beginning right up to the end. While a great result in the point system may lead to the award of a medal, only the team obtaining the highest results in all the competition categories will ultimately be able to become the Olympic champion. The culinary delights you will see will reflect balance and harmony - quite the contrary of how the participants will feel bubbling with energy and excitement. They will have spent months preparing for the show and discussing kick-off and sequence of the different categories. Some of them literally travel half-way across the planet to be there and then, it's neck or nothing: they will give their very best to become the winner of the world's most important Culinary Exhibition.
