The Junior National Culinary Teams consist of trainees, commis de cuisine, pupils or students within the culinary profession with a maximum age of 23 years.
Jugendnationalmannschaften - Wettkampfkategorie A "Kalte Plattenschau"
As sampling is not permitted, there will be no stimulation for your taste buds, however, the visual joy will be all the greater. The Junior Culinary Teams will not perform all the tasks their senior colleagues have to accomplish. They get to chose one of the three following tasks the seniors have to perform:

In this category the Junior National Culinary Teams also have to chose one of three optional tasks:
Jugendnationalmannschaften - Wettkampfkategorie C "Pâtisserie"
In this last category, the Junior National Culinary Teams also have to select one of the following tasks.
















































Erfurt/Frankfurt am Main. Erfurt in Germany is awaiting its guests for
next year's 22nd IKA / Culinary Olympics. From October 18 to 22, 2008,
the world's best chefs and pastry chefs will gather in Erfurt to show
their expertise and know-how in culinary arts. The international
four-day competition which takes place only every four years is
considered the most important event in this field. And while the
hosting German Chefs Association is looking forward to welcoming
colleagues from more than 35 countries, an extraordinary city promotion
was kicked off.
